#261 Poochyena

Today I come with a pattern that I've been sitting on for some time now. Poochyena!

He's a little difficult when it comes to the shaping of the colouring on his body but you can always use felt instead and it would look just as fine! Then there's just a lot of little pieces for the tail.

I used a 4.00 hook and DK yarn, this plush worked up to be 23cm (9inches) nose to tail and 24cm (9 1/2 inches) tall.

Head
Round 1: CH2, SCx6 in the 2nd stitch from the hook (6)
Round 2: 2SCx6 (12)
Round 3: [2SC, SC]x6 (18)
Round 4: [2SC, SCx2]x6 (24)
Round 5: [2SC, SCx3]x6 (30)
Round 6: [2SC, SCx4]x6 (36)
Round 7: [2SC, SCx5]x6 (42)

Round 19 - 20: SCx36 (36, 2 rounds)
Row 1: SCx16 chain and turn
Row 2: SCx15, chain and turn
Row 3: SCx14
Leave a long tail and stuff firmly. The rows are sewn onto the front of the body when attaching the head to make the head sit in a more lifted and comfortable looking position.

Body
Round 1: CH2, SCx6 in the 2nd stitch from the hook (6)
Round 2: 2SCx6 (12)
Round 3: [2SC, SC]x6 (18)

Round 8: [2SC, SCx6]x6 (48)
Round 9 - 23: SCx48 (48, 15 rounds)
In the next round, you may want to use thread to leave a mark 10 stitches in so you can see where the black stomach patch should go. Also, you may wish to stuff up to here and then stuff the rest later to make it easier.
Round 24: [SC2tog, SCx6]x3, SCx24 (45)
Round 25: [SC2tog, SCx6]x3, SCx21 (42)
Round 26: [SC2tog, SCx5]x3 SCx21 (39)

Round 29: [SC2tog, SCx4]x6 (30)
Round 30: [SC2tog, SCx3]x6 (24)
Stuff to hold its shape. Don’t stuff too firmly or you’ll lose the light shaping around the stomach area.
Round 31: [SC2tog, SCx2]x6 (18)
Round 32: [SC2tog, SC]x6 (12)
Round 33: SC2togx6 (6)
Round 1 is the front of the piece and that’s where the head should be attached.

You may wish to mix up the different groups to make the leg spikes look different. I’ve separated them into colours and you can mix them up as you wish.

Stuff lightly and sew onto the bottom of each leg. If you overstuff, the join may be too obvious so take care to sculpt the foot on and sew tightly. Also take care to sew any gaps that may appear from the skipped stitches. The decreased half rounds (8 and 9) should be facing forward for the toes.

Use black yarn to embroider markings to separate the toes.

Clefairy (Pokedoll style)

Hello!

I come with another pattern that isn't being added to the pokedex library as this one is done in pokedoll (cute and round) style rather than based on the original dex image.

But this one is really quick and easy to work up!

I made this with DK weight yarn and my usual 4.00 size hook. The plush works up to be 18cm (7 inches) tall and 21cm (about 8 1/2 inches) arm span!
